As I sat there catching up with a distant relative talking about our life choices, I realized how similar we both are. How we both picked the less popular choices and ventured off the mainstream path.
"Are you happy with your choices?", I asked her.
"Definitely", she replied.

"How about you? Ever wavered when tsk'd by so many folks?", she probed.
"Never", I said resolutely.
"Good", we shared a smile.
